8th Development Policy Research Month
This year`s celebration of the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) highlights the role of research in helping to solve poverty with the theme “Pananaliksik at Talakayan tungo sa Pag-ahon mula sa Kahirapan.” Now on it`s 8th year, the DPRM is being celebrated every year following the issuance of Malacañang Proclamation No. 247 dated 02 September 2002, which declares September of every year as Development Policy Research Month. The DPRM celebration aims to provide a means of promoting and drawing nationwide awareness on the importance of policy research in national development.

A Review of Build-operate-transfer for Infrastructure Development

The annual headline inflation rate at the national level slowed down to 3.9 percent in June from 4.3 percent in May. Likewise, core inflation slightly went down to 3.7 percent in June from 3.8 percent in May.

The monthly average peso-dollar exchange rate went up to 46.3027 in June from 45.5971 in May.
